Onet Connect Tile Match: Yomoe
Tap two, link them, watch them go. Made in Japan. This app is made by Yomoe Studio, a small studio in Japan that does nothing but build apps. No flashy effects, no nudges to spend. Our time goes into the details instead — the feel under your finger, the colours, how satisfying each match is — to make something you can pick up every day without being worn out by it. Onet Connect Tile Match: Yomoe is a tile-matching puzzle: pick two tiles with the same design, and if a path with at most two turns can join them, they disappear. The path may travel around the outside of the board, so tiles on the edge can always reach each other the long way round. Every board is generated on your own device. No connection needed — on a plane, underground, or anywhere else, your next board is already there. ■ Build your own board — Custom mode (Pro) Set the rows, the columns, the number of tile designs, and what remaining tiles do after a match. The five movement rules — stay put, fall down, slide left, slide right, gather to the centre — each turn it into a genuinely different game. Turn on the timed refill and tiles keep arriving while you clear them, which changes the pace completely. Your settings are saved, so a board you like is always one tap away. The movement rules also appear, free, in the later Adventure stages and in Challenge. ■ Six ways to play - Adventure: stage after stage, chapter by chapter, on boards in more than 20 shapes — hearts, pyramids, castles and more. Every match gives a little time back, and your remaining time decides your stars. - Classic: pick Starter through Hard and take on a single timed board. - Relax: no timer. If you run out of moves the board reshuffles itself, so you never get stuck. - Endless: tiles keep arriving every ten seconds. Clearing the board doesn't end it — how long can you hold out? - Challenge: one clock, board after board. Each board you clear buys a little time, and movement rules and incoming tiles join in as you go. - Custom (Pro): the board, the tile count, the movement rule — all yours to set. ■ Tools to keep you moving Hint (lights up a matching pair), Shuffle (rearranges the board), Bomb (removes a matching pair outright) and +30 seconds. You get a set of each per game, and you can top them up by watching a video (instantly, with no video, in Pro). ■ Achievements Combos, completed chapters, how long you last in Endless — the more you play, the more achievements you unlock, including a few hidden ones whose conditions stay secret until you earn them. Every achievement can be earned in the free version, and you can check your progress anytime in Settings → Achievements. ■ Built to be comfortable Portrait only, everything within reach of one hand. Play with Fruits & Veggies or classic Mahjong tiles (plus Numbers & Letters and Animals in Pro) — all hand-drawn vector shapes, so they stay crisp on any screen. 10 languages. ■ Pro Version (one-time purchase) One purchase, and these five are yours for good: - Every ad in the app removed - Custom mode - 4 board themes (Matcha / Sakura / Ocean / Night) - 2 extra tile designs (Numbers & Letters / Animals) - Tool top-ups and Challenge time extensions straight away, no video The other five modes, every stage, every difficulty and the Fruits & Veggies and Mahjong tiles are available in the free version from the start. The number of tools you are given, and the limits on using them, are identical either way. ■ Tell us what you think Anything you notice, anything you would like to see — send it through the feedback form in the app. We read every message that comes in, and it shapes what we build next.
