Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy Effective date: August 1, 2026 Last updated: August 25, 2026 IMPORTANT NOTICE ON LANGUAGE This document is an English translation provided for your convenience. The Japanese version is the original and authoritative text. In the event of any inconsistency or difference in interpretation between the Japanese version and this translation, the Japanese version prevails. Japanese original: https://yomoestudio.com/ja/apps/com.yomoestudio.live.diet/privacy Yomoe Studio ("we", "us", or "our") provides the mobile application "Diet Tracker" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App. 1. Our Approach The App does not require you to create an account. The health information you record is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. 2. Information Stored Only on Your Device The following information you enter into the App is stored in a local database and in the App's private storage area on your device. We do not receive or have access to it: (a) Profile information: nickname, gender, year of birth (age), height, current weight, target weight, and target period; (b) Health records: weight, body measurements, meal records and meal photos, exercise records, water intake, bowel records, and menstrual cycle records; (c) App settings: display language, theme color, notification preferences, and purchase status; This information is used solely to display, aggregate, and chart your records within the App, to project progress toward your goal, and to show estimated menstrual and ovulation dates. 2-2. Information Sent to Our Server (Feedback) The following information is sent to and stored on our server only when you submit the in-app Feedback form. Nothing else you record in the App is ever sent to us: (a) The feedback type you select (bug report or suggestion); (b) The message you write; (c) Your email address (optional — you can submit without it); (d) Basic environment details: package name, app version, device model, and OS version (sent blank if they cannot be obtained). We use this information solely to investigate problems, improve the App, and reply to you if you provided an email address. We do not use it for advertising or any other purpose, and we do not share it with third parties except as required by law. Please do not include personal information you would rather not disclose (such as your name, address, or details of your health records) in the message. 3. Device Permissions The App requests the following permissions only when the related feature is used. Permissions are optional and can be revoked at any time in your device settings: (a) Camera and photo library — when you add a meal photo. Selected or captured photos are copied into the App's private storage and are never uploaded; (b) Notifications — to show reminders, for example when you have not opened the App for a while. All notifications are generated locally on your device; we do not receive their content or delivery history; (c) File access — when you export or import a backup file. 4. Backup and Sharing The App can export your records into a single backup file. Export happens only when you initiate it, and you choose where the file goes (another app, cloud storage, email, and so on). We do not receive the exported file and are not responsible for how the destination service handles it. 5. Third-Party Services The App uses the following third-party services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies. (a) Google AdMob (advertising) The App displays advertisements so that it can be offered free of charge. To deliver ads, Google LLC and its advertising partners may collect and use your advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), device information, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad impression and interaction data. • On iOS, we show the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Choosing "Ask App Not to Track" does not change how the App works; you will simply see non-personalized ads. • On Android, you may reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization in your device settings. • Users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are shown a consent screen on first launch, and personalized advertising is controlled according to your choices there. Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites (b) Apple App Store / Google Play (in-app purchases) The "Pro" purchase is processed by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Payment details such as credit card numbers are never provided to or stored by us. We only reference whether the purchase has been made. (c) App configuration requests On launch, the App contacts our server (https://api.yomoestudio.com) to retrieve configuration information such as the latest app version. No health records or personally identifying information are sent in this request. As is inherent to any network request, your IP address and the time of the request are recorded in our server access logs; we use these logs only to prevent abuse and to diagnose technical problems. (d) Store review prompts Review requests use the standard rating features provided by Apple and Google. Any rating or review you submit goes to the respective store, and we cannot link a review to an individual user. 6. Disclosure to Third Parties Except as described in Section 5, we do not disclose your information to third parties, unless required to do so by applicable law. 7. Deleting Your Data You can delete the records stored on your device at any time using the data-erase function on the "Me" page. Uninstalling the App removes all data, including records, photos, and settings, from your device. Because we do not hold your records, no deletion request needs to be sent to us. 8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws) Your records exist only on your device and are not held by us. You can therefore exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, and portability directly through the App's editing, deletion, and backup-export features. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the advertising described in Section 5(a); to exercise choices regarding advertising, please use the controls and links described in that section. 9. Children The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian. 10. Security Because your records are stored on your device, their security depends on the security of the device itself. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. 11. Language This Privacy Policy is written in Japanese, and the Japanese version is the original and controlling text. Translations into English and other languages are provided for convenience only. In the event of any inconsistency or difference in interpretation between the Japanese version and any translation, the Japanese version prevails. 12. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you through the App or the app store listing. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. 13.
